Brochures and a prospectus for Nulogic

A prospectus families keep

A school prospectus is often the one thing a family takes home from your open evening. It sits on the kitchen table while they make one of the biggest decisions of their child’s life. It should be clear, warm and honest, with real photos of your pupils and staff, and it should answer the questions families actually ask.

We design school prospectuses, brochures and flyers for schools, multi academy trusts, colleges and education providers. The work above was made for Nulogic, an education provider: three brochures for different stages, an alternative education prospectus and two-sided flyers, all built around one brand.

Written with you

The words matter as much as the design. We start by talking to you about who the prospectus is for and what makes your school different, then write the copy with you in plain language. You review every page, and nothing goes to print until you are happy with it.

If you already have copy, we can work with it and tidy it up. If you need photography, we can photograph your school too, so the pictures are planned around the pages they will appear on.

Designed to look like you

Every school is different, so we design around your brand, your colours and your photography rather than a template. A prospectus, a set of brochures and your flyers should look like one family, which makes your school easier to recognise. The Nulogic brochures share one layout, one set of colours and one typeface, so a family or a school can pick up any of them and know straight away who it is from.

Sixth form prospectuses and brochures

A sixth form prospectus is read by sixteen-year-olds as well as their parents, so it needs a different voice. We write for students first: the subjects you offer, how big classes are, what happens in free periods and what students go on to do, with course details easy to find. Brochures for a single phase, a provision or a campaign follow the same approach.

We prepare print-ready files to your printer’s specification, and can help you arrange the print run, with advice on paper and finishes that suit the job, if you would like us to.

A digital prospectus too

Alongside the printed version, we can make a digital prospectus: a clickable version for your website that families can read on a phone, with links to your pages and films that play inside it. It is easy to share in emails and on social media, and quicker to update than a print run.

Banners, pull-up stands and signage

For open evenings and events, we design banners, pull-up stands and posters in the same style as your prospectus, so everything a family sees on the night looks like it belongs together. We also design signage for entrances, receptions and corridors.

Prospectus design in Birmingham and across the UK

We work with schools and education providers across Birmingham and the West Midlands, including Nulogic’s centre in Bournville, and with schools further afield. Wherever you are, you get a clear, fixed quote before we start.

Safeguarding and consent

Photos of pupils, used with care.

A prospectus is printed and shared widely, so every photo of a pupil must have consent. If we take the photos, we work from your consent list on the day. If you supply them, we check with you that consent covers print and online use before they go in.

We do not print pupils’ full names next to their photos unless you ask us to, and you approve every page before anything goes to the printer.

Why Moments

Why schools choose us

  • We only work in education

Schools, multi academy trusts, colleges and education providers are all we do, so you never have to explain admissions, Ofsted or the school year to us.

  • Safeguarding comes first

Every one of us is DBS-checked, and we check your consent list before anyone is filmed or photographed.

  • One studio for everything

Film, photography, print, social and websites from the same in-house team, so your prospectus, website and open evening film look like they belong together.

  • A clear, fixed quote

You know the cost before we start, and it does not change because a shoot runs long. We reply to every enquiry within one working day.

FAQs

Questions schools ask us

What should a school prospectus include?
A welcome from your headteacher, what makes your school different, what a day looks like, the curriculum and enrichment, pastoral care and support, your results or inspection outcome if you choose to include them, and how to apply or visit. Above all, real photos of your pupils and staff.
How long should a prospectus be?
Long enough to answer the questions families ask, and no longer. Many school prospectuses work well at 12 to 20 pages. A short, well-designed prospectus that people read is better than a long one they put in a drawer.
How often does a prospectus need to be updated?
Most schools update their prospectus every year or two, or sooner if something important changes, such as a new headteacher, a new inspection outcome or joining a trust. Designing it with that in mind keeps updates quick.
Do schools still need a printed prospectus, or is a digital prospectus enough?
Many schools now do both. A digital prospectus is easy to share and update, and can include films. A printed copy is still valued at open evenings and by families who like something to take home. We design both from the same work, so you do not pay for it twice.
How much does a brochure cost to design and print?
It depends on the number of pages, whether you need photography and copywriting, and how many copies you print. We do not publish prices, but we give you a clear, fixed quote before we start, covering everything you ask us to do.
